The Hebrew Organ עוגב עברי
Inspired by possible prototypes of organs mentioned in the Tanakh or Talmud, I modeled a 3D organ.
I tried to incorporate influences from the Torah, the Talmud, Jewish history and the description of the Magrefah.
The 10 open +1 pipes closed are intended to represent the 10 holes of the Magrefah as described in the Talmud.
The cylinder from which the pipes come is intended to be reminiscent of the Torah.
There are 5 + 2 stops
The 5 small stops represent the 5 books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy
The 2 wide stops stand for the Babylonian Talmud and the Jerusalem Talmud
The 2 additional bellows represent the 1st and 2nd temple, so the organ can be played with additional air of the spirit and the power of a previous generation.
I hope I haven't offended anyone's religious feelings with this organ, I have full respect for the Jewish community.
