In the German Museum in Munich there is a model of a speaking machine built according to the specifications of Wolfgang von Kempelen, which is dated ~1800

Whether Kempelen himself built this variant is still under discussion

One can recognize many changes and improvements in this variant machine in contrast to the drawing of the speaking machine published by Kempelen in the book of 1791.
