I made a small series of Japanese lanterns. Divided into four categories:
Wooden lanterns that you mostly see in shrines or temples.
Metal lanterns that mostly hang on buildings.
Stone lanterns that can be seen in temples, shrines or Japanese gardens.
And paper lanterns that are mostly covered with shoji paper.

This is the stone lantern group, often seen in temples, some variants combine wood and stone.
