Shaw University - Leonard (Medical School) Hall - 1881

Leonard Hall at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, was built in 1881 and still stands today.

From 1881 to 1918, the building was known as the Leonard Medical School.

More than 400 African American physicians were trained at the Leonard Medical School between 1882 and 1918.
