Korea Traditional Flutes - Saenghwang 생황 - So 소 - Hun 훈

Three very special flutes from Korea with a strong character. The Saenghwang is also available in a modern further development.

Saenghwang: Free Reed mouth organ, 17 pipes (classic) 24 pipes (modern) 37 pipes (contemporary). Equivalent china/sheng, japan/sho. know since Goguryeo/Baekje.
So: derived from the chinese Paixiao, used in Munmyo jeryeak (confucian ritual music)
Hun: made of baked clay. originating from prehistoric times.
