After reading some legends and stories about the origin of the Mongolian horse head violin, I made this little adaptation.
There are different stories in the north in the south in the east and in the west.
I tried to combine some stories that have a very similar plot into one story.
One thing is common to almost all Mongolian stories and legends about the Morin Khuur,
they are almost always about the flying horse Jonon Khar.
There are songs of their own that sing about it, there are music groups that name themselves afterwards, even in the Mongolian coat of arms you can see a wind horse.
Morin Khuur the fiddle and Jonon Khar the flying horse are two very important cultural treasures of Mongolia and also for the world.
Morin Khuur is a beautiful theme that is full of stories and surprises waiting to be discovered by artists.
