Shaw University - Leonard Medical Center 1881-1918

The Leonard Medical Center was a medical school that lectured at Shaw University from 1881/82 to 1918.

This medical training program, with its own hospital and pharmacy building, made an enormously important contribution to the care of the African American population in North Carolina, USA.
