I made a small series of Japanese lanterns. Divided into four categories:
Wooden lanterns that you mostly see in shrines or temples.
Metal lanterns that mostly hang on buildings.
Stone lanterns that can be seen in temples, shrines or Japanese gardens.
And paper lanterns that are mostly covered with shoji paper.
My little Japanese lantern library for future projects.
This is the group of paper lanterns that are mostly hung up. The Chōchin 提 灯, there are also paper lanterns specifications: Andon 行 灯 and
Tōrō 灯 篭 is also used as a collective term for this and the other lanterns.
I will expand and specify this Japanese Lantern Portfolio from time to time.
Thank you for your time
