ALTAI HARP - Mongolia Music Instrument - Монгол хөгжмийн зэмсэг

The Altai harp was found in western Mongolia in 2008 in a rock tomb in the Altai Mountains. Due to the composition of the tomb, it is estimated to be between the 7th and 8th centuries, the Turkish period. A German science team analyzed the musical instrument fragments. Two independent replicas were designed. A replica by the German research team and a replica by Mongolian musicologists in the shape of a goat's head.
