kokyū 胡弓 - Japanese String with Bow Instrument
kokyū 胡弓 - Japanese String / Bow , The kokyū 胡弓 is a traditional Japanese string instrument. Although it was introduced to Japan from China along with the shamisen (~ 17 th century)
The orginal Instrument from china did develop in Japan in Okinawa and than comes to the "Big Island" and did Develop one more time.
It looks like the Shamisen or like the Sanshin but have some diffent construction details, and is smaller than the Shamisen and Sanshin. For me it looks very lovly, a very nice shape.
