The organs of St. Cecilia

Cecilia was a Roman virgin martyr, She became the patroness of music and musicians.
In music books of the Middle Ages she is even considered the inventor of the Portativ organ.

She lived in Rome probably in the 3rd century CE.

I have found a large number of paintings, statues and carvings between the 15th and 19th century CE that portray Saint Cecilia with an organ.

Great artists like Rubens or Raphael have painted images of Saint Cecilia playing an organ.
