The Gramophon, Grammofon

The gramophone was developed by Emil Berliner in 1887,
it came in the development stage of the record players after the phonograph in 1877 (by Edison) and the graphophone in 1886 (by C.A.Bell and S.Tainter).

The advantage of the gramophone was the invention of the disc as a sound carrier.
