Erhu 二胡 or Nanhu 南胡,
a Chinese two-string bowed string instrument. The Erhu is also called Nanhu because it originally comes from the south, southern fiddle. A very important tool in Chinese music. I made an Erhu model because it was the predecessor of the Japanese kūchō and kokyū fiddle. A very nice instrument with a great sound. Details on story wood legends and much more, my string series will be available with a Japanese Musical Instruments string video series where the Chinese erhu is included. Coming soon
