Beach Lighthouse - Fleetwood

Beach Lighthouse - Fleetwood Lancashire, England.

The lighthouse was designed in 1839 by Decimus Burton and Capt H.M. Denham.

Saw a picture of the Lower Beach Lighthouse and immediately fell in love with the architecture. It represents a fortress and is still just a "small" lighthouse. The indentations on the ground floor with seats make it look very lively and inviting.

This building is the perfect representation of the saying my home is my castle.

Research, modeling, texturing, rendering. Time needed: about 2 days of work.

The light house is on the beach, together with the light house in town, they (Upper Light Pharos Lighthouse) provide a navigational guide to shipping entering the Wyre estuary.
